Hello !
I am capable to drag and drop midi notes from RC to Ableton (CTRL - ALT - SHIFT) but dragging some midi notes from Ableton to RC, nothing happens (there is a tiny cursor which pops up and you think it is going to work - but nothing).
Any help would be greatly appreciated - Many thanks.

I'm not going to have an answer as I don't use Ableton, but, can you drop midi to any other VST other than RC?

Unfortunately Ableton does not include a standard MIDI file in the drag message.
RapidComposer accepts dropped MIDI files and cannot interpret Live's internal data format for dragging MIDI clips.
If you can drop it on your desktop, and a MIDI file is created, most probably it can be dropped to RapidComposer.
Most DAWs use an internal data format when dragging. RC offers a way (Ctrl-drag things) to drag standard MIDI.
Thanks,
Attila
