Verry interested in the Arp 2600 , timewarp is the best to date but is unsupported .
It's kind of mindblowing that korg is still selling their ms20 with the same dsp code as in 2005(feedback and overload in total in sounds really bad ) ,the arturia ms20 otoh sounds spectaculair .
Let's hope the Arp 2600 does too

Really looking forward to checking out the 2600! Just hope it's not a scrollable window like their odyssey or the arturia 2600. A scrolling front panel UI is no fun. Just put tabs.

What's interesting is they have now ported an engine from Kronos to plugin form, once that dam gets cracked I wonder how much longer before they port more of it?
I would think the HD-1 with all of the PCM content and MOD-7 would be good sellers. I would buy both instantly

I'm not interested in the ultimate Vox Continental emulation here, or in any of the alternate dimensions I exist in. If the EP-1 is the Kronos/Nautilus EP-1, then I'm also gonna pass on yet another set of physically modeled electric pianos. Seems like ya'll are excited for another 2600 emulation but I don't know why.

Because there isn't a currently supported emulation that is very accurate at all, which is strange for such a classic.hurricaneaudiolab wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2024 9:32 pm I'm not interested in the ultimate Vox Continental emulation here, or in any of the alternate dimensions I exist in. It has. There are at least two of them in VST (Cherry Audio, G2500), and the latter is free; there is also the Behringer hardware 2500 line.Nug Wrangler wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2024 7:03 pm Why hasn't the Arp 2500 been emulated? its always the 2600. Just curious
I don't particularly recommend those VSTs (I have tried both), but they exist. I do plan to buy the Behringer modules ... eventually. Not super-high priority right now.
Also, I didn't see anyone point out: You won't see a Z1 emulation anytime soon. Search past KvR threads to find out the details, but: the source code is completely lost, it would require reverse-engineering. You're better off just using the Prophecy VST in poly mode. :\

A wild guess: Because the 2600 is better known.Nug Wrangler wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2024 7:03 pm Why hasn't the Arp 2500 been emulated? its always the 2600. Just curious

Since they released a new version of the KingKORG as the KingKORG Neo, I wonder if they'll release a Native version like their Wavestate, Modwave, Wavestate range? If so, I might be interested, so long as they do something about the aliasing.

I might be misunderstanding what you're asking for, but Wavestate, Opsix, and Modwave are all native:egbert101 wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2024 9:58 pm Since they released a new version of the KingKORG as the KingKORG Neo, I wonder if they'll release a Native version like their Wavestate, Modwave, Wavestate range? Also, it says nothing about what it is. Standalone/Vst etc.
Do you know where that info is?
