Max expansion of ES-8?

What is the max number of channels the ES-8 can handle? Is it possible to add both ES-3 and ES-5 to the connectors on the board and also use the input/output of the ADATs on the panel at the same time?

You can connect an ES-3 to the ADAT output, and an ES-5 to both the ES-8 and to the ES-3.

Then you can add ESX series expanders to the ES-5(s).

Thank you, do you have your setup like that? Sounds like a lot more than the stated 16*16 channels to me. Can you use all the inputs at the same time in the computer? In the old demonstration video from ExpertSleepers he says that it shows up as an 16 in and 16 out audio device in the computer. Driver updated to handle more channels now?

This is Os from Expert Sleepers.

The ES-8 supports 12 in/16 out audio channels. The ES-5 adds a lot more output possibilities but they're not extra audio channels.
