Post

We've just launched a new virtual instrument: Martinic Kee Bass.

It's a modeled recreation of a 1960s monophonic bass synth. Although the original is a somewhat limited instrument, it's a fun little keyboard, and of course we've added some extras (e.g. polyphony). Oh, and best of all, it's free!

Visit our website for more audio demos (it's a bass synth, so use headphones/real speakers!), or to download installers, and for info on how to claim your free license. Have I already mentioned it's free? :D

Really nice one.
But I have an issue with cubase 10.0.40 on Win 10 1906 64.
In stop or pause mode it refuses playing after a short while and gives only a repeated quiet click.
In play or running record mode everything seems to be ok.

EDIT - Obviously not a problem with Kee Bass but with my system. - Solved.

where (on mac) do i put the license file?
email says it's written in the manual, but i can't find a manual...?

Post

There's a bit here about license files on MAC ...
https://www.martinic.com/en/support
Can I manually copy the license key file on my Mac?
Yes you can. For the Scanner Vibrato, copy the Martinic_Scanner_Vibrato_License.txt file to ~/Library/Application Support/Martinic/Scanner Vibrato by folowing these instructions:

Go to the folder ~/Library/Application Support/
Create a folder Martinic
Go into that folder
Create a folder Scanner Vibrato with the space between Scanner and Vibrato
Put the License file there

What if the license key file cannot be found?
You could copy the licence file to your desktop and run the installer again. It should be able to find it there and let you select it.

Where can I find the answers to other questions?
You could try the KVR forum, or you could contact us directly.
I can't find the promised PDF manual anywhere.

On a Mac with trouble figuring out how the License gets recognized?

• Create a folder on your desktop. It doesn’t matter what you name it.

• Drag the Martinic_Kee_Bass_License.txt and Martinic_Kee_Bass_v1.0.0.dmg files into the folder.

• DoubleClick the .DMG and launch the installer.

• Check the installer's License Key Box and continue. It should work now when you launch it in your DAW.
On a number of Macs

Nice, can’t wait to try! I’d love for you to make a G-101 or YC-45D emulation, or a Lowrey TBO-1 or Yamaha E70 or D85.
Many paid and free VSTs as well as Kontakt libraries. As well as HW synths/drum machine and acoustic instruments.

Sweet -- a new Martinic keyboard! Completely lives up to the Martinic name. Many thanks!
