Native Instruments have announced they intend to release Kontakt v1.5 in late October, Intakt in November and NI Komplete on October 17th.
Kontakt v1.5
Kontakt will be updated to v1.5, apparently in the next couple of weeks. The update will be available as a special offer for $29/$49 for the first four weeks following release, after which it will cost $49/$69. Anyone that purchased Kontakt after August 1st will be able to download the update for free.
New features will include:
- Beat Machine - for slicing and syncing loops.
- Time Machine II
- Better sound quality when time stretching and pitch shifting samples
- Time stretching to sync drum loops to the tempo of the host sequencer.
- Accelerated Sample Analysis
- VST Automation.
- New Import Formats - REX, EXS MK II and Samplecell.
- OS X support: Core Audio, Core MIDI, Audio Units, VST and RTAS (For Windows too).
- Drag and Drop From Finder and Desktop.
- Locking Zones.
- Fine-Control of Master Tuning.
- Solo Latch, Solo In Place.
- New Copy Protection: NI Authorization System.
NI Komplete
NI also announced NI Komplete, a package that includes Reaktor Session, Kontakt, Battery, Absynth2, Vokator, Spektral Delay, FM7, B4 and Pro-53 for 1499 $/EUR. NI Komplete will be available from October 17th for MacOS 9, Mac OS X and Windows.
