Impact Soundworks has announced the release of Shreddage X, a follow-up expansion pack to ISW's Shreddage DI electric guitar library for Kontakt, designed for use in rock/metal rhythm riffs.
Shreddage X was based on user feedback and suggestions and deepens the scope and breadth of the original library. New articulations include vibrato, tremolo picking, hard sustains, and harmonics, plus new release samples and recorded portamento slides up to and down from every note. Hammered legato is also included, with script controls allowing for tine-tuning and tweaking.
As with the original library, Shreddage X was recorded clean (DI) - the user can swap in their own signal chain and create custom amp tones. The library does not require keyswitching or excessive MIDI CC automation, just left-hand/right-hand playing, velocity switching and the modwheel.

Shreddage X is available as a direct download via the Impact Soundworks website for $20. The original Shreddage library required. You can also purchase the Shreddage Complete Bundle Bundle for $69 if you don't already own the original library.
