Sound Magic has announced the release of Rose Whisper Piano Convertible Version, which adds support for Windows 64-Bit and the Mac OS X AudioUnit plug-in format besides the original Windows VST version. It costs €99.
The sound of Rose Whisper Piano comes from a Fazioli "Brunei", a concert grand worth over $400,000. Fazioli, a piano manufacturer in Italy, is considered by many to produce the best sounding grand pianos nowadays. Based on its famous Fazioli F308, the 10 foot concert grand model, Fazioli "Brunei" is decorated with flowers in mother of pearls, features semi-precious stones in various types. What's more, this “Brunei” was specially tuned by factory engineers to achieve a unique sound. Compared to regular F308 model, it has deeper bass and is mellower in sound. Rose Whisper Piano features a deep, clear bass. Its high is very sweet and transparent. Rose Whisper Piano unleashes the full power of a 10 foot concert grand while maintaining a very expressive dynamic. It is a versatile piano for Classical, Jazz, New Age and Pop music.
Convertible Version is the latest expansion of the Sound Magic piano sound. It brings their piano to more formats and platforms allowing more musicians access. Convertible Version uses the core of the NEO Hybrid Modeling Engine and adds a new simplified interface - allowing "out of the box" performance without a lot of setup time. Convertible Version introduces an add-on data bank which makes getting a huge variety of sounds fast and easy.
PianoComp is a specially designed, simple to use, compressor/limiter for Supreme Piano 2. PianoComp costs €10 and is provided as a VST effect under Windows or an Add-on for Supreme Piano 2.
