Defective Records Software releases "Audio Plugin Player" for Mac

Defective Records Software has announced the immediate availability of Audio Plugin Player, a lightweight VST and AU instrument plug-in host for Mac OS X that allows you to play these instruments using either your mouse, computer keyboard, or MIDI device (both hardware and software MIDI devices supported).

Audio Plugin Player has a simple, one-screen interface, that will let you start making music with your favorite audio instrument plug-ins in seconds – just choose your plug-in, make your input and output choices, and you're ready.

Audio Plugin Player is available for purchase from the Apple Mac App Store, at an introductory price of $0.99 until February 1, 2012. The price then goes to $2.99.
