Samplesphere announces KitBits Series - new category for SimPOD VSTi

Samplesphere has announced the KitBits Series, a new category for its SimPOD VSTi.

The KitBits Series has been specifically designed to replace or enhance an existing kit piece of a sequenced drum track and to use as little screen space as possible.

Each KitBits samplepod contains multiple patches, all of which can be configured in the *Play Mode field to play via Manual selection, Key switches, MIDI channel number, Program change, MIDI CC and "Always" (with this option two or more patches can be played simultaneously which allows layering).

Details:

• All drums were recorded at 13 velocity levels.
• Mapping is to the most commonly used key(s) for each kit piece.
• A scroll wheel mouse is recommended to edit parameters.
• KitBits Series includes: Bass Drum, Snare and Toms.
• Controls:
  • Edit (per patch) - Volume, Attack, Release and *Play Mode (options as stated * above).
  • Master - Volume, Reverb, Pan and Modulation - to make things a little more interesting.
