Rob Papen updates Predator to v1.6.4 - Over 450 new presets

Rob Papen has updated Predator to v1.6.4. It includes sound banks with over 450 new sounds.

A recent visit to the Rob Papen HQ by Headhunterz (a.k.a. Dutch hardstyle DJ/producer Willem Rebergen) — recently ranked 11th in DJ Magazine's annual Top 100 DJs poll — resulted in the dedicated HardStyle BD Basses sound bank and a new distortion effect within Predator 1.6.4.

Dutch DJ Rob Fabrie (a.k.a. DJ Headbanger, TheAlienator, Gizeh, and Waxweazle) contributed the new Hardstyle Core BD Basses RF sound bank to Predator 1.6.4 while JoMal has also added his own artist bank of distinctive sounds to the update.

The new features Predator 1.6.4 are:

• New big screen graphic mode (150% size).
• Clipper Distortion FX (with symmetry control).
• Tape Chorus effects.
• Vowel, Formant 2-band, and Formant 4-band readouts (which when selected result in the Distortion dial displaying VOWEL or BANDWIDTH).
• External MIDI Capture Mode (that allows a parameter to start changing as soon as the external MIDI controller reaches the displayed preset value).
• Over 450 of new presets:
  • Bank 02 Predator dance 04 (preset 058 until preset 067).
  • Bank 03 Classic Synth 04 (preset 067 until 119).
  • Bank 03 Classic Synth 05 (preset 001 until 015).
  • Bank 08 Ambient 02 (preset 081 until preset 096).
  • Bank 12 DubStep 02 (preset 114 until preset 127).
  • Bank 12 DubStep 03 (preset 01 until preset 020).
  • Bank 20 all basses 04 (preset 092 until preset 096).
  • Bank 20 Hardstyle BD basses (preset 01 - 084).
  • Bank 20 hardstyle core BD basses RF (preset 01- 100).
  • Bank 29 JoMal-bank 2 (preset 01-128).
