Torn sub releases Callisto - Arranger Module Emulation VSTi for Windows (Added to "Buy one get them all" sale)

2nd December 2014

Torn sub has released Callisto, a "one man band"-style live jamming arranger module emulation mainly intended for keyboardists and arranger performers.

It has many features in common with hardware arrangers like left hand chord playing, 10 variations styles (including intros, main variations, fill ins and ends), style programming tools, drum\instrument modes, start\stop session on chord press, "fingered"\"1 finger" chord playing modes and host's time signature and tempo adopting abilities.

Basically, Callisto is a MIDI sequencer that powers other VST instruments, samplers and romplers and it uses the host's internal MIDI routing to send MIDI sequences to other VST instruments via up to 16 MIDI channels. It consists of 6 instrument slots that may perform as drums or non-drum channels and send MIDI data to up to 6 VST instruments at once.

Each instrument slot is powered by a built-in MIDI sequencer that is represented by its own piano roll for programming and allows the user to control every aspect in their composed style.

Callisto allows saving\loading new styles on the fly via its graphical style library menu and also supports dividing styles in to various genres using its 30 bank slots.

Main features:

Note that at the moment, Torn sub officially recommend "Studio one 2" and "Reaper" hosts.

As part of Torn sub's sale, the price for the full product line, including Callisto, will be 39$ for the first 1000 customers. The regular price after the sale ends will be 59$. Existing customers that already bought from Torn sub at the past will be able to download the full version of Callisto for free.
