Zvork releases Oberon Synthesizer for Reason

29th June 2015

Zvork Audio has released Oberon, a new synthesizer Rack Extension for Reason.

Based on their second generation additive engine, it features fully editable multi-point curves for envelopes, waveforms, filter response and spectrum timbre bend. With two oscillators, 8x unison and octave virtual oscillators, it is capable of producing rich and fat sounds of many types.

At the heart of the Oberon synthesizer lies an additive engine that delivers totally alias-free sounds in every circumstance. The complexity of additive synthesis is hidden through a classic oscillator / filter architecture that is completely flexible thanks to user editable wave forms and filter responses.

Morphing is also everywhere in Oberon as you can morph between two waveforms, between two filter responses or between the two oscillators. Thanks to its additive nature, the Oberon engine also enables spectrum manipulation by bending the partial pitches, giving access to a broad range of metallic or noisy sounds.

Here's a resume of the key Oberon features:

Oberon is available for purchase at 99€ / 99$ at the Propellerhead Software Shop.
