PlugInGuru has released MegaMagic PADS for Omnisphere 2, Kontakt 5, Serum, Reason and EXS24.
MegaMagic PADS is designed to make beautiful, powerful, happy, sad, ominous, angry emotions into sounds that a user will get goosepimples when playing.
The library is 28 6-Sample Pad patches in 2 flavors that is intended to be a Jekyll + Hyde library because it has both "PAD" patches with slow attacks, long releases and "SYNTH" which are fast attack, shorter release times for EDM and Electronic music of all types.
The pads are composite sounds created 100% "in the box" with Logic Pro X as the DAW host. Software synthesizers used includes: ElectraX, Codex, Nave, Sculpture, Loom, Blue, Wavestation, ES2, Spire, Nemesis, the original Alchemy as the sound palette. All samples were looped with equal-power crossfade loops in Redmatica's KeyMap Pro. Samples average over 10 seconds long each.
The library is available in 5 different plug-in formats. One purchase will give a user links to 3 different libraries:
- Omnisphere 2.1 .omnisphere version for 1-click automatic loading into Omnisphere 2.1.
- Reason Refill version is 700MB and includes the library in NN-XT format.
- WAV version includes Serum, EXS24 patches plus custom resources and graphics for a custom Kontakt 5 version (requires full version of Kontakt 5.5.1). NOTE: Serum version also requires the use of version 1.07b1 which has new sample abilities created to support this library.
