Westgatesounds.net releases "Incantations VI - Unholy Rites"

Westgatesounds.net has released Incantations VI - Unholy Rites, a sound library that consists of 25 all new sounds created by taking vocal excerpts, mostly from audio books released in the public domain on Librivox.org and treating them to reversal and FX.

These vocal excerpts were then taken and loaded into one (sometimes two) instances of the Anomaly VSTi and joined with other instances of the Anomaly instrument to create the backgrounds for them.

Texts include the Bible, the Upanishands, the Dhammapada, the Tao Teh King, Liber AL, the Book of Lies, some Gnostic texts and the works of HP Lovecraft and Lord Dunsany.

The backgrounds and other vocals were created from the DNR Collaborative Developers Pack and other sources.

There are 25 all new sounds as single sampled stereo SFZ/WAV files, 110 MB. Each sound is about 26 seconds long. There are also the background sounds and vocals as separate SFZ/WAV files for anyone who can make use of them as a bonus.

Formats:

• There are 25 single sound presets for Wusikstation V6/V7, Wusik 4000/8000 and Wusikstation V8. There are also 25 single sound presets for the bonus sounds.
• There are 25 .nki presets for Kontakt V2 and up and 25 .nki files for the bonus sounds.
• There are 25 single sound presets for Dimension Pro and 25 presets for the bonus sounds.
• There are 25 single sound presets for Rapture and 25 presets for the bonus sounds.
• There is a .sf2 (soundfont) version which is two 55MB sf2 files of 25 sounds each.

Price: The SFZ/WAV version is $20. The sf2 (soundfont) version is $15.
