Bitley releases Lo-Fi Reaktant for Reaktor

23rd December 2016

Bitley Sounds & Refills have teamed up with programmer / musician Python Blue to release Lo-Fi Reaktant, a Reaktor 6 Ensemble that behaves like a really old sampler - aliasing as a desirable effect.

The ensemble loads in Native Instruments Reaktor for PC and Mac, and instantly delivers a whole library of sounds from effects to pads / choirs and synths. The user can also import samples and use the engine for playing back these with "the high end of the low end".

Where modern samplers and sample players don't do much when a filter is opened, this ensemble does: opening up the filter is like opening up the gates to an entire landscape of aliasing effects. This is how the Publison, the Emulator and the Fairlight sounded back in the early '80s.

Intro price: $19 until the last of January 2017.
