Fanan team releases Boo boom - a wave file slot based drum sampler

Fanan team has announced the release of Boo boom, a wave file slot based drum sampler for Windows.

Boo boom uses 20 wave file sample slots to build 20 drum components drum kits. Every slot can be used for any type of drum component. Each slot is triggered by its own unique MIDI note which noted on its slot button (for instance, slot 48 is triggered by note number 48 in the MIDI keyboard).

The samples menu is divided into 14 categories, including a wide range of drum kit components types. Each type button is directing to its own sample library folder. Each sample folder has a room for 150 samples and all the files are replaceable manually.

Boo boom comes with 30 full drum kits to start with. It has also a built-in mixer that allows tweaking any sample separately, EQ, pitch shifter, pan and pitch based round robin effect. The mixer is armed with 3 master effects (compressor, reverb, delay).

Boo boom can be expanded to up to 20 "physical" outputs in the DAW (20out mode). In this mode, every slot gets its own separated channel in the DAW mixer and allows manipulating every sample separately (The master effects are disabled in this mode).

It uses a "one button press" preset manager which allows presets switching straight from the GUI and it also allows tweaking the active keyboard's octaves zone and tweaking or firing up the master effects by using macro knobs and buttons.

Boo boom uses 24 presets drum kit banks. Each preset represents a full drum kit containing all the components.

Boo boom is attached to Fanan team's full product line pack which costs 27$. Already registered customers can download the pack and get Boo boom for free.

The demo version is attached to the demo products pack. Limitations: demo sound every 20 seconds, "20out mode" is disabled (the audio output is stereo only).
