ProjectSAM releases "The Free Orchestra #1: Tutti Hits" for Kontakt

ProjectSAM has launched a new free sounds section with The Free Orchestra. Every last Thursday of the month, they plan to release a new, inspiring sample set, taken directly from their extensive, cinematic catalogue. Free for the composer community to download and use.

January '19 – #1: Tutti Hits
Released at the end of January, is a lightweight, yet thundering, set of orchestral Tutti Hits. A collection of col legno hits, full orchestra stabs, low brass clusters and horn rips, ready to be used in your very next action, ghost or horror score.

The samples were taken from the following libraries:

• Symphobia 1
• Symphobia 2
• Symphobia 3: Lumina

Dedicated Kontakt interface
All Free Orchestra patches feature a dedicated Kontakt interface with basic, yet powerful controls to adjust the envelope, reverb, dynamic filter and other elements. The interface also allows you to reverse the samples on-the-fly. The Free Orchestra does not come with a Kontakt Player license, which means the full version of Kontakt is required. All Free Orchestra patches have been formatted for Kontakt 5.6.8.

Open sample pool
Tutti Hits comes with a 44.1 kHz/24-bit open sample pool. This means that you can directly access the wave files and use them on any platform that can handle wave files. For example: Ableton, Cubase, Pro Tools, FL Studio, HALion, Falcon – or your Eurorack/old school hardware sampler.

License conditions
Please note that while you are more than welcome to use The Free Orchestra in commercial projects, it is not allowed to redistribute or resell the sounds without prior, written permission of ProjectSAM.
