Replika Sound releases RSCI02 Voltus Bass Synth and Audition Player for Kontakt

31st May 2020

Replika Sound has announced the launch of RSCI02 Voltus Bass with Audition Player for Kontakt.

Audition Player is a specially designed Kontakt Player that allows you to use your own samples. Audition loads them and spreads them out 1 sample per Key. Simply select one of your samples with your MIDI keyboard and click a button on the GUI to have that sample spread out across 6 octaves. Layer 4 samples together.

Each Sample Layer has its own controls for: Volume, Pan, Stereo Width, Pitch, HP and LP Filters, Chorus, Tube Drive, Delay, long evolving LFO Sweep FX, Tempo-Synced Pulse (Stutter) and Filter Gates, Tempo-synced AutoPan and ADSR envelopes.

They say:

There are Master Gates, Filters, Envelopes and Effects like Delay and Reverb. Audition is like a bridge between static Sample Packs and fluid playable Virtual Instruments.

Voltus Bass uses the same Sample selection Engines as Audition and is bundled free with Audition.
Voltus Bass comes with 125 24-bit 5 Octave Multi-Sampled Bass source Sounds and 200 Presets. Combining these Bass Sounds with the 4-layer Audition engine can make literally millions of sound combinations. Voltus is capable of a wide variety of Bass textures - gritty aggressive dark bass, warm deep rolling sub, long evolving bass pads or organic braam-like brassy low registers.

All the features of the Players are fully MIDI automatable. They are designed for the full version of Kontakt 5.3 (or newer).

Price: £32. On sale for £5.00 (USD 7 / EUR 6) until 14th June, 2020. There is a Free Tryout version of Both Audition and Voltus. There are some limitations which are listed in the README file in the demo pack.

Further information is available from the RSCI02 Voltus Audition page on the Replika Sound website together with a full Feature Guide, audio demo
