Rhythmic Robot return with new instruments - RoadRacer for Kontakt

After a summer in which their website was hacked and had to be temporarily removed from the net, Rhythmic Robot Audio are back – now hosted on a new and more secure server system at www.rhythmicrobot.com

Their first release is a recreation of a 1970s Crumar electronic piano with onboard bass: the RoadRacer. In Kontakt form, this provides both the original transistor tones of the hardware, and some additional tonal control courtesy of sampled FM layers for both bass and piano patches, which can be blended in to thicken and warm the sound. Dual Detune and a selection of onboard effects including a convolved Lexicon reverb further extend the capabilities of the instrument.
