Audio Brewers releases 'Crescent' for Kontakt - Cello Quartet in half moon formation, recorded mixed and delivered in Stereo and Ambisonics

19th May 2022

Audio Brewers has released their newest sample library for Kontakt, Crescent, which consists of a Cello Quartet in half-moon formation recorded, mixed and delivered both in Stereo and Ambisonics.

Crescent was captured from different positions to be able to offer different perspectives that can adapt to several needs: 4 Mono Spot mixes, 4 Stereo Mixes and 5 Immersive Perspectives, compatible with Dolby Atmos.

Thanks to the Immersive Perspectives, the listener can be a spectator, half-surrounded, or completely surrounded of Cellos, which brings several options to composers and producers.

Additionally, thanks to what Audio Brewers call 'True Panning', the Cellos can be panned in any direction, always keeping the translation of the sound intact, something crucial when it comes to strings ensembles.

With Crescent, Audio Brewers also introduces their own Polyphonic Legato, which is aimed to composers who create music by playing live, as it allows them to play any number of voices, chords, and even change articulations on-the-fly, without having to go to the DAW.

Crescent comes with 31 Articulations (plus 8 Articulations with legato), with over 22,000 samples at 24-bit-48kHz resolution, with a size of 50GB compressed to 27GB (lossless).

Crescent runs on full Kontakt 6.2.1+.

Intro Price: €99 until 20 June, 2022, (Reg. €149) at audiobrewers.com/crescent-cellos
