Soundiron releases Hyperion Strings Ensemble - Flagship Orchestral String Library

Soundiron has announced the release of the full flagship edition of their orchestral string library with Hyperion Strings Ensemble. This library is built for the full version of Kontakt 6.2.2 or later.

Hyperion Strings Ensemble is loaded with a massive array of dynamic long and short articulations, fingered true legato and portamento, emotive dynamic expressions, tremolo, runs, trills, flautando, ponticello, harmonics, chromatic and aleatoric effects, and creative sound-design elements. It's a complete string scoring solution right at your fingertips, with everything you'll need to shape your own sound, from the intimate to the astral.

There are 5 string sections contained in this ensemble, totalling 30 members: The first violins with 8 players, the second violins with 7 players, the violas with 6 players, the cellos with 5 players and the double-basses with 4 players. Soundiron chose these compact section sizes to produce a more natural divisi sound when arranging complex orchestrations. The sections can be layered thickly to produce a large symphonic sound, while allowing a more precise and immediate intimacy for chamber ensemble and tighter arrangements are needed.
