Galbanum releases Abstraction 01 MS and Abstraction 01 REX

Galbanum has announced the release of Abstraction 01 MS and Abstraction 01 REX.

Abstraction 01 MS is a premium format of Galbanum's Abstraction 01 loop collection for use in U&I Software's MetaSynth. In addition to reproducing all of the Abstraction 01 content in MetaSynth native formats, the MS version also offers an additional 200 new loops and grants access to exclusive power tools to transform and algorithmically mutate new custom loops.

The true power of the MS format is that, like the REX format, the loops represent both a collection of isolated samples and the performance data. Many sound-ware developers today offer various technologies to allow manipulation of the musical performance embedded in a REX groove or instrument phrase, but nothing can compare with the unique graphical power of MetaSynth. Micro and macro edits and transformations which would take hours in other tools can be made in seconds. Abstraction 01 MS includes a collection of 64 graphical groove patterns which can be used as filters and displacement maps to quickly generate variations or completely new performances. It thus represents not only a sample loop collection, but also a custom algorithmic loop production factory.
