Ableton has launched a special deal for the summer of 2009. Every customer who buys Ableton Live 8 before August 31st will get Sampler, Ableton's advanced sampling instrument, absolutely free. This offer is available in stores and at the Ableton webshop.
Sampler, worth €99 / $129, combines traditional sampling features with advanced sound design functions. Although perfectly well suited to handling multi-gigabyte instrument libraries, it's Sampler's sound design capabilities that make the instrument really unique. Sampler gives musicians and producers precise control over every detail of sound-shaping, creating vibrant and complex sounds from even the most basic audio source material, according to Ableton.
Terms and conditions
This offer is valid for purchases of Ableton Live 8. It does not apply to Ableton Suite 8 because that product already includes Sampler. It is also valid for upgrades to Ableton Live 8 from versions of Ableton Live Lite and Ableton Live LE. It is not valid for educational and not-for-resale products, or for upgrades from older full versions of Ableton Live. Purchases or Upgrades will have to be made from July 1 to August 31, 2009.
Free audio pack for Sampler: Samplification
All Sampler owners, old and new, can also download the free Samplification audio package, which offers Construction Kits, Live Sets with drum clips, new Instrument Racks, new lessons, and sounds from Puremagnetik, Cycling '74 and Sonarte's Sound Objects Lite collection. Samplification will kick-start any Live user's sampling skills and demonstrate what Sampler is really capable of.
Samplification is a Live Pack: 450 MB download, 950 MB installed. It requires Sampler and Live 8.0.4 or higher.
