Adam Monroe Music has updated Adam Monroe's Honky Tonk Piano to v2.3. This update affects the VST and Audio Unit versions.
Changes to VST and AU versions:
- Improved multi-threaded buffering and simplified voice-list code. Samples now play cleanly and smoothly, even at low latencies and sample buffers. Voice-lists no longer share file-streams. Tied buffers to voice-lists instead of assets.
- Eliminated a bug that shortened length of sustained notes. Notes now play all the way to the end.
- Eliminated "buffer for" switch, as multi-threading is now the default behavior. Added buffer checks for rendering.
- Eliminated redundant code, such as checking for and destroying duplicate notes. Duplicate notes now simply "release" without the need for complex code or resource duplication.
Changes to AU version:
- Added support for DAWs that still use older Carbon resource files.
-
Added legacy/32-bit support. Plugin now shows up in 32-bit DAWs.
