Topten Software has released a new beta version of Cantabile v1.0 (Build 102).
Changes since build 100:
- Fix for access violation error loading DS404 synth (probably fixes issues with other plugins as well).
- Added QuickScan button to VST Plugins page.
- Added progress dialog when scanning VST plugin folders.
- Added Diagnostics and Troubleshooting button to General property page. Displays a dialog for setting logging levels and enabling the log file.
- Added extra logging and tracing code particularly in relation to VST folder scanning and loading.
- Added further error checking and exception handling code to plugin loading code. In particular if a plugin crashes while being loaded, you should now get an error message and Cantabile should continue to run.
- Changed functionality of Rescan button on VST Plugins options page to do a full rescan, discarding all cached VST information.
- Update About page to display current build number.
- Added new web page describing how to help diagnose problems.
- Fixed several broken links in on-line help.
