Devine Machine updated to v1.1

Devine Machine Software

Devine Machine Pro and EZ were both recently updated to v1.1, they also now have a support forum here at K-v-R.

New in v1.1:

  • Stereo and multi out versions are now in one DLL.
  • New live options. You can preview a new LL through sub5 with pressing keys (C4 to E4), and send all mix through sub4 on the fly (F4 to B4).
  • C1 can be used as a "glue" for Liveloops : if you are playing 6 LL together, and need to free your hand on stage , you just press C1 and the LL will be sustained. Press C1 again to release them , and C1 again in case you would need them back!
  • B1 is now used as LL live "solo" , so the only LLs you will hear while holding B1 are the one you actually press on MIDI keyboard.
  • Region Editor is renamed to slice editor and has 2 new buttons:
    • 'Done' to exit slice editor.
    • "init drum edit" to send the slices to drum editor (like CTRL+D).
  • 2 new buttons in browser:
    • '#' which will play the file at its original pitch , and load it in drum mode with 'keep original pitch' on.
    • 'auto' : DM will play 4 bars of each wave file and automatically jump to next one while you can do something else.
  • Now the "slicemapper" will work for all bar numbers loop.
  • Liveloop now store the preset contained in dragged pattern memory , and you can drag back from liveloop to pattern memories : if a wave is loaded in the track , DM will drag back the preset "saved" in liveloop slot , and if no wave loaded , DM will load the audio data contained in Liveloop slot in the destination track.
  • You can now disable the logo on DM startup.
