The most significant update is the optimized installation script for macOS, making it faster and more straightforward to install and utilize the plugin. Furthermore, the plugin has a fresh look with a new macOS app icon that adds a modern touch to the interface.
OB-Xd 2.12 also has a new presets folder with over 1,000 categorized presets and streamlined bank selection, providing users with a seamless experience in finding the right sound for their projects. The new Menu > File > Open Preset folder and Menu > File > Save Preset to Disk features allows users to access and save their presets quickly and easily.
The updated framework in OB-Xd 2.12 also improves performance and stability, while fixing the issue with the Linux GUI not displaying correctly ensures the plugin works flawlessly across different platforms.
Another feature of the new release is the fix to the issue of multi-knob clicks in 24dB mode, enhancing the sound of the plugin.
