EastWest/Quantum Leap has announced that it will be launching a new set of premium upgrades to all three versions (Platinum, Gold and Silver Editions) of Symphonic Orchestra that approximately doubles the size of the original editions. The Pro Edition Upgrades are slated for release in March 2005.
The contents contained in Platinum Professional (Platinum Pro) and Gold Professional (Gold Pro) are the same with the exception that Platinum Pro, has three stereo mic positions and is 24-bit, where as GoldPro is stereo 16-bit. The instrumentation and articulations that were not included in the original Gold Edition from the original Platinum Edition will be added to the GoldPro upgrade.
