H. G: Fortune has released X-Wheel of Fortune II Pro. Based on the free X-Wo II this is the widely enhanced Pro version of their integrated, partly algorithmic VSTi music system - a tool for easy track creation for most types of electronic music.

Based around 8 independent instrument parts, it allows you to create complex tracks and atmospheres. Each patch/preset is a complete musical track arranged easily by means of the inbuilt sequencers, 42 different musical scales and harmonical steps within these scales. There are 64 editable presets/patches available which will take you around six hours to listen to in full.

Features:

  • Pad 1 and Pad 2 Synthesizer with 66 different PCM waveforms.
  • Pad 1 and Pad 2 Synthesizer featuring a special vLFO for even more versatile modulation on Pads.
  • Lazy buttons within Pad 1, Pad 2, Bass and HiSq Synthesizers to randomize different sets of parameters.
  • Percussion section with dedicated programmable Kick-part plus separate tempo & delay settings.
  • VSq - the Vario Seq Part to add the salt to the soup by oneshot samples.
  • User-SF2 for Kick, Percussion Instruments and VSq - directly switchable between internal and User.
  • 68 Percussion instruments incl. 13 kicks.
  • 45 Oneshot samples for VSq.
  • 41 different internal scales + one adjustable User scale within every preset.
  • Two rows for setting musical steps.
  • Two rootnotes selectable.
  • Selective playing for Bargroups.
  • Fade Out on Stop, individual audio out (6xstereo) selectable, Start/Stop by Transport Run of Host.

X-Wheel of Fortune II Pro costs EU€45 but is initially available for the introductory price of EU€35 until 30th June, 2005. A demo version is available.
