Hidenori Matsuoka released Piano Kit 3, a major new version of the piano chord form tool and scale library app for iOS.
This update includes major changes.
Now one can use chord progression for song (Each chord form's beat counts are flexible) at Chart View in Favorites Tab. And Chart View allows a user to export it as Standard MIDI File.
Changes in Piano Kit v3.0:
- Chart View in Favorites Tab can export SMF (Standard MIDI File) to Mail, Dropbox and others (Chord Name will be export as Marker). Already tested by importing to Logic Pro X on Mac. If a user exports SMF to Dropbox, they need to install Dropbox app. And Piano Kit doesn't recommend exporting to Evernote.
- A user can import SMF. Official support of this feature is only SMF made by Piano Kit and Guitar Kit and future version of Chord NOTE.
- A user is able to use 3 buttons (Favorites, Add Chart, Duplicate) now on all Chord Form cells.
- Piano Kit don't stop other app's music any more.
- Remove iTunes File Sharing feature, enabling the export and import of data instead. Data includes Original Chord Forms, Favorite Chord Forms, Chart Chord Forms and etc. Destination is Mail and Dropbox and others.
- Beats of one bar can now be represented up to 99. And if a user presses and holds the button, they can change beat count continuously.
- Fixed other many issues.
Also, Guitar Kit has been updated to v6.1. This update includes fixes for some serious problems.
Changes in Guitar Kit v6.1:
- Improved stability at launch by other app.
- Removed possibility changed background color accidentally for each chord form cell.
- Solved problem that CPU is wasted when a user is playing Chart.
- Modified UI a little.
