Homegrown Sounds has updated Astralis A and Astralis B to v1.1.1 and released a beta version of Astralis C.
Astralis A and B fixes and additions:
- Changed C1 to CC (Custom Clock).
- Improved Visibility of Envelopes.
- Fixed a crash which could occur in certain situations when changing presets.
- Removed Manual Mode from MS1 as it was not possible in poly mode, MS2 still has Manual Mode.
- Fixed a bug where 4 x tempos were not working as expected.
- Added Fine Pitch to the modulation matrix.
Astralis C Beta is based on the same synth engine but uses samples for the sound source. The samples are stored in banks of up to 50 samples and are created by simply making a folder inside the Main Samples folder. Wavs placed in this folder then become part of a bank and are accessible via a popup menu in the synth.
Astralis C is only available to registered users of the Astralis pack and has the same features of Astralis A with the additional following features:
- 2 x WAV Sample based Oscillators.
- User definable 24 or 16 bit Sample capabilities.
- Uses standard Loop points.
- Custom Start position per patch.
- Forward or Reverse.
- Looped or single Shot.
- Unlimited user banks supported.
- Unlimited WAV size.
- Random Sample Function.
- Includes 2 Banks of Samples as standard.
