The Mix Challenge audio community has announced it is celebrating the 7th anniversary of the Mix(ing) Challenge:
Another year has gone by in a fluke. It has been seven years since the Mix Challenge started (June 2014). Over 76 Mix(ing) Challenges and over 45 Songwriting Competitions later - we're still here.
In fact, there have been two major milestones in 2020, despite some crazy twists and turns that year. Over 100 participants twice for the Mix(ing) Challenge, and as of September 2020 over 1000 community members. Considering the community size, an impressive feat.
I can do nothing but thank everyone that has been (and still is) a part of the Mix Challenge audio community. From our song providers, to license sponsors, to the monthly participants, to all very generous patrons, to all those that go the extra mile and spread the word about this community (please continue doing so), the cross-community support and collaboration, the constant positive feedback, etc.
Without you, this endeavor might have wilted long ago.
Happy 7th Anniversary, Mix Challenge.
The following challenges are currently open to compete in:
- Mix Challenge #077:
- Have the chance to work on a New Age production.
- Deadline: 21st of June.
- Songwriting Competition #046:
- The theme being "Busk that Jam Session".
- Create a production in any genre you feel like (fitting to the given premise).
- Deadline: 24th of June.
