PG Music has updated RealBand 2008.5 to Build 3. Among other things, this adds new features such as a new Audio Chord Wizard version with a lead sheet style window, and a new DXi/VSTi Trim setting.
Summary of changes since Build 2:
- Improved: Audio Chord Wizard has been updated with a lead sheet style window.
- Added: Setting to allow stereo panning of Blue BB tracks when generating whole song.
- Fixed: RealDrums might be generated even if the option to Auto-Generate when loading an .MGU was unchecked
- Fixed: Access violation if moving the All slider and then saying 'yes' to question about keeping recorded mixer moves.
- Added: Trim for the default DXi slot is now settable within the MIDI Drivers dialog and is saved between RealBand sessions. This allows you to easily change the volume of the DXi synth globally, especially useful for quiet synths like the VSC-DXi.
- Improved: Metronome now works for playback and recording, no matter what audio drivers (MME/ASIO) and MIDI drivers (DXi or non-DXi) you are using.
- Fixed: Metronome countin wasn't audible with non-always-on ASIO.
- Added: MS field to the Time on the status bar.
- Added: New menu items to save individual tracks to files on the Audio and Render menus.
- Fixed: Extracting a Type 0 .MID to multiple tracks did not work.
- Fixed: If DXPluginHost was visible when exiting realband then an access violation would occur the next time the program was run.
- Added: Middle chorus partmarkers automatically changed from A to B for BB files.
- Fixed: Opening an audio file into the Audio Chord Wizard put it onto track 9.
- Fixed: Chorus End not being set after running Audio Chord Wizard.
- Fixed: Suppressed warning about erratic counting for an ACW song.
- Fixed: Default stereo panning was not working for RealTracks.
- Fixed: Style changes not recognized when loading in an .SGU.
- Fixed: If highlighting a section of a BB MIDI track and regenerating, the previous data was not erased in that section.
