PG Music has announced that a build 4 update for RealBand 2008.5 is available.
Summary of Changes for Build 4 since Build 3c:
- Improved: Part markers and chord edits are now transferred from the Audio Chord Wizard to RealBand.
- Fixed: Audio playback cut out when recording with MIDI sync and ASIO drivers.
- Fixed: Access violation when first song generation was done after loading a file with lyrics.
- Fixed: Possible access violation when generating a BB track beyond the range of existing MIDI tracks.
- Added: Support for excluding instruments from rests/shots/holds (e.g. C.dgp).
- Fixed: Bar settings (F5) volume changes in .MGU files were not recognized.
- Added: Any missing PG DirectX plugins will be installed.
Summary of Changes for Build 3c since Build 3:
- Fixed: Error reading vba.bin when generating song in version 3b.
- Added: Support for the new Jazz RealTracks, and styles.
- Fixed: For Acoustic Bass Jazz RealTracks, some chords with flat or sharp 5ths weren't working correctly.
- Fixed: In the StylePicker, 'other styles found' tempo ranges were incorrect.
