PSPaudioware has released PSP VintageWarmer2 and updated PSP MasterQ to v1.5.

New features in VintageWarmer2:

  • FAT (Frequency Authentication Technique) - PSP's quality double-sampled processing.
  • Disengageable brick-wall limiting.
  • Two Release Multiplier ranges for fast or relaxed processing.
  • Semi-automated release mode.
  • Extended band saturation levels and band release multipliers for MultiBand mode.
  • 64-bit host<>plug-in audio streaming support in VST version.
  • Platform-independent preset management system.

NOTE: The new version is not backward-compatible. Sessions and preset files saved with older PSP VintageWarmer will not open properly.

VintageWarmer2 and MasterQ are both available for Mac OSX and Windows in VST, AU, DX and RTAS formats. The OSX versions are now Universal Binaries, compatible with PowerPC- and Intel-based Macintosh computers.

PSP VintageWarmer owners can upgrade to VintageWarmer2 for $49. All users who bought PSP VintageWarmer after March 13th, 2006 get the new PSP VintageWarmer2 for free.

The Mac OS X Universal Binary update for PSP MasterQ costs $19. Customers who put the PSP VintageWarmer2 into their shopping cart as well will pay even less - $10. All users who bought PSP MasterQ after March 13th, 2006 get the new version for free.
