Sinevibes has released Turbulence 2.0, its all new "wave transformer" Audio Unit plugin for Mac OS X, which is a major upgrade from Turbulence 1.0.
Turbulence is a distortion processor that "bends" and "curls" the input signal in real time, transforming it into new synthetic textures. Almost all of Turbulence's parameters are animated by a sequencer with each of its 32 steps having individual transformer model, curve, modulation envelope – allowing easy creation of complex, lively rhythmic soundscapes. Turbulence can also store eight snapshots of itself within a single preset, allowing user to switch them during performance or via host automation.
Changes:
- Completely new user interface built using Core Animation.
- New input filter design.
- Eight full parameter snapshots per each preset.
- Advanced transport sync algorithm with support for tempo and time signature automation.
Price: $29. To celebrate the release of Turbulence 2.0, Sinevibes is also running a sale: until 3rd July, 2014, all of its products and bundles are available with a 15% discount.
