SKnote releases Roundtone Multitrack Tape Machine for Mac VST and announces Verbtone Plate Reverb
SKnote has released the Mac OS X VST version of Roundtone, the Multitrack Tape Machine emulation, and announced a new plug-in: Verbtone, a simple plate reverb (pricing and release to be announced).
Roundtone is a stereo/mono tape emulation software. It adds typical tape recording interesting side-effects to every audio track. A special introductory offer has been set until April 17th, 2011: Roundtone is available at the special price of $9.99.
Features:
- Useful on single tracks (mono/stereo) and on submixes/mixes.
- Very light on CPU and latency-free, adds punch, color and gently compresses the sound.
- Includes several algorithms (different tape, saturation curve, color, response). More to came in future free updates.
- "Emphasis" control adds color while preserving the high frequencies.
- Includes an optional 2nd stage of saturation (head).
Verbtone is a simple plate reverb.
