Slate Digital releases the "Virtual Console Collection"

Slate Digital has announced the official launch of its newest plug-in for Mac OS X and Windows: The Virtual Console Collection, which brings the sound of 4 of the world's most legendary analog consoles into your DAW.

Despite the digital revolution that has taken place in the audio industry, many of the industry's top mixers still prefer to mix on analog consoles: "When you mix through an analog desk you get this life and body to the sound that just doesn't happen when you mix inside the workstation. The Virtual Console Collection consists of two plug-ins: Virtual Channel (applied to mixing channels) and Virtual Mixbuss (applied to master fader). Each plug-in allows the user to choose from one of four meticulously modeled consoles. When using the Virtual Console Collection, your DAW instantly takes on the personality of a real analog mixing desk with all its subtleties and nuances. The imaging and depth improves, instruments sit better in the frequency spectrum, and mixing becomes easier and more musical. You can even push the DAW faders up to find each mixer's sweet spot.
