Soundiron has released Didgeridoos, a multi-sampled didgeridoo and sound-design library. It's made for the Kontakt 6 Player and is compatible with all NKS standard hardware.
Soundiron says Didgeridoos is a one-of-a-kind virtual instrument that provides a wide chromatic range of 16 individually tuned didgeridoos, giving you the power to create rhythms and melodies that have never been heard before. Soundiron collaborated with Didgeridoo builder/player William MacGavin and composer/engineer David Zagardo to bring this unique virtual instrument to life. It features a wide variety of sustaining rhythmic grooves, vowel sounds and beatbox-style staccatos and effect articulations.
This library also includes a wide variety of playable articulations, atmospheric soundscapes, textural pads, drones, and 20 custom fx presets to jump-start your creative process. Didgeridoos has been designed to provide creative tools and new sonic possibilities for composers and musicians everywhere to explore. It's not intended to represent or replace the authentic realism, cultural importance and soul of traditional aboriginal musicianship and spiritual traditions.
