Soundiron has released version 2.0 of High School Drumcorps, a multi-sample drum library for Kontakt focused on capturing the tight, punchy sound of high school marching band drum line snares and bass drums.
This library includes a full collection of articulations for tuned marching bass drums (20" - 36"), 14" marching snares, a 42" concert bass drum and full ensemble. There are snare and bassdrum rolls, crescendos, strikes, rim clicks, rimshots and more. Each drum was recorded in close, wide stereo, in a large band hall and out on the football field. As a bonus, there are 18 live marching bands and parade ambiences.
The new 2.0 upgrade adds Soundiron's unique Megamixer interface, which allows custom kit and ensemble building, with independent drum and articulation selection, volume, panning, tuning, key-mapping and more. The ensemble and solo presets feature the Ubberpeggiator system, including the new EZ-roll generator mode. Full ADSR, release sample and crescendo shaping controls are also included, along with Filter/EQ and convolution reverb effects.
