Time+Space and Sam Spacey have released Epica Bass, a dedicated analog bass synth library sampled from Sam Spacey's personal collection of classic analog synths and modulars.
He used a vintage Neve preamp and the UBK Fatso hardware as well as boutique guitar distortion pedals and Kush Audio Elektra EQ's in an effort to make Epica Bass sit in the mix without the need for additional plugins.
Comprising 430 epic instruments built from 26,657 24-bit mono samples, the majority of presets have every single note sampled with up to 6 round robins per note to capture the character of the classic synthesizers as faithfully as possible. Epica Bass's 6-page interface has been designed to be as simple and easy to use as possible.
