Voxengo has released version 2.0 of CRTIV Reverb, a stereo reverberation effect plug-in, and updated CRTIV Tape Bus, a reel-to-reel tape saturation plug-in, to v1.2.
CRTIV Reverb Version 2.0 includes the following changes:
- Added "Ambience" parameter.
- Added damping strength parameter.
- Added self-modulation for improved depth perception and warmness.
- Increased overall reverb's density.
- Changed "Hi Gain" parameter's behavior so that it applies makeup gain.
- Reduced clicking during room size changes.
- Redesigned knobs and background texture.
- Added Retina support on macOS, and automatic high-resolution UI size adjustment on Windows.
CRTIV Reverb is available for purchase for $59.95. It is a free upgrade for existing owners, and Premium Membership owners.
CRTIV Tape Bus v1.2 includes the following changes:
- Added "Rec Gain" modes that imitate overload protection circuitry.
- Added "Flutter" mode that imitates a high-quality tape drive mechanism.
- Redesigned knobs and background texture.
- Added Retina support on macOS, and automatic high-resolution UI size adjustment on Windows.
- 15% lower CPU usage on AVX2-capable processors (in 64-bit mode).
