Wusik has released updates for Wusik Station V8, Wusik 8000 and Wusik 4000. Below is the complete list of changes for the three products. Demonstration versions for Wusik Station V8 and Wusik 8000 were also updated (Wusik Station V8: Windows / Mac; Wusik 8000: Windows / Mac).

Wusik Station V8.2.4

Fixes/Updates:

  • Important: Fixed the problem with hosts (such as FL Studio) that work with uneven block sizes.
  • Fixed a problem of the Glide parameter making the layer Voices default to Mono when it shouldn't be. e.g: when loading something on the Forte host.
  • The ShortcutKey + 0 (Zero) was opening the wrong layer, this has been fixed.
  • Improved the Granular Synthesis Grains Size display.
  • Renamed the Tree View on the right first option to: Browser (options).
  • Improved the overall GUI redraw CPU usage and rates. Now the default Screen Refresh Rate is 50 ms, you can change this value by clicking the W logo and selecting "Screen Refresh Rate". The lower values will consume way more CPU usage compared to higher values. For most situations 50ms should be enough.
  • Fixed a problem with the Master page. It was redrawing the whole page all the time and consuming a lot of CPU usage. This has been fixed now.
  • Fixed a problem when opening a menu in the Sample Player and them loading a new preset before the menu was closed.
  • Added an error message when trying to load Wusik Station V9 > presets.
  • The Peak LED in the Master Page is now working correctly.
  • Loop Modulation (Wavetable) was no longer working, this has been fixed. e.g: The Digi One Collection set of Legacy Presets.
  • Wave Sequencer - Sequence 1 to 4 selector wasn't working correctly.
  • In the Modulation Matrix page, values can be fine tuned with the right mouse button drag.
  • Fixed some problems with the Undo option when editing a waveform in the Sample Player.
  • Fixed a problem with the Wave Sequencer Ping-Pong mode not working correctly.
  • Added extra confirmation boxes to some options in the Sample Player, Drawable Oscillator and Wave Sequencer for things like Delete All and so on.

Wusik 8000 (and, where applicable, Wusik 4000) V1.2.4

Fixes/Updates:

  • Important: Fixed the problem with hosts (such as FL Studio) that work with uneven block sizes.
  • Fixed a problem of the Glide parameter making the layer Voices default to Mono when it shouldn't be. e.g: when loading something on the Forte host.
  • Improved the Granular Synthesis Grains Size display.
  • Renamed the Layer Output names from Out 01 to just 01...16.
  • Renamed the Tree View on the right first option to: Browser (options).
  • Fixed both Oscilloscopes (effects) that would not run the display correctly.
  • Improved the overall GUI redraw CPU usage and rates. Now the default Screen Refresh Rate is 50 ms, you can change this value by clicking the W logo and selecting "Screen Refresh Rate". The lower values will consume way more CPU usage compared to higher values. For most situations 50ms should be enough, but 25ms looks better if you are using the Oscilloscope module.
  • Improved the Mini-Oscilloscopes display (the one that shows on the module window at the top right area) to use less CPU resources.
  • The Peak LED in the Global layer is now working correctly.
  • Loop Modulation (Wavetable) was no longer working, this has been fixed. e.g: The Digi One Collection set of Legacy Presets.
  • The display values on some modules (e.g: Multi Line Envelope) were showing in the wrong place.
  • Wave Sequencer - Sequence 1 to 4 selector wasn't working correctly.
