The Steel Kontakt causing high cpu usage

First I am really loving The Steel. It works great for what I am trying to do and is a great value for the price. I am running a live vst host, Cantabile, but have ran into this issue with Gig Performer as well. When loading The Steel I am getting higher cpu usage. I use other kontakt instruments and do not have the issue. In kontakt I set the number of voices to 8-12, purged the samples, and re batch and save. The Steel no loads quick. Inside of contact it is showing less the 300mb memory usage. So I am trying to trouble shoot. Any ideas?

I don't know anything about that specific instrument but check if convolution is being used - that tends to increase CPU cycles significantly
Also, there is a known issue with all NI instruments as they try to call home (without asking) unless you explicitly know to disable it and that can cause significant CPU cycles. See this article on this topic (https://gigperformer.com/if-your-fans-s ... performer/)
