New in Sosir 0.9.2:
1. Beautiful new freeze sound, the "Mellow Tone" selection
replaced the previous "Standard"* choice.
2. HighPass filter in freeze stage.
3. Slow Stereo LFO added as modulation source of the Delay Time.
*( if the "Standard" freeze tone selection was you favourite, in 0.9.0,
please let me know)

### some info ###
The idea of "Sosir" was to create a bowed sound (by freezing the input)
from a plucked sound (roughly speaking: guitar pluck to bowed strings).
You have basically two stages:
1) digital virtual bow
2) delay line with feedback and modulation by LFO
(There is also a small reverb at the end, but that's optional).
You should use the "Sound Choice" selector to change the base timbre
and duration of the bowed sound.
Then you have the other controls to adjust it to your needs:
"bow" dry/wet, sub octave doubling, filters LowPass HiPass.
When the delay Time is set to about the same or less of the "arcata"
duration, the repeats (by delay feedback) would merge in a long
sustained sound, this make it sound more like the infinite reverb you
know.
Note. That there are two different "Wet" controls:
the mix of "bow" effect and the mix of delay effect.

And here is a quick and dirty demo of the bowed sound with the delay off:
synth "plucks" dry first and then 100% wet (but no delay or reverb)

And. By Donkey Tugger
First the dry acoustic, then the effect (slow lfo to delay time);

Wow, this is a fun and useful plugin (your Fertile Audio Tools deliver).
Works like a charm to bow-ify plucked sounds - but it can turn simple melodies into lovely rhyhtmic textures, too.
I didn't try it on guitar yet (haven't played in months, and my cat's asleep on my lap) but tested with synth plucks.
I like the 4 "Sound Choice" settings, they make for a broad range of sounds (perhaps I dig the "mono dark" most, turns unassuming plucked sounds into dramatic bows).
But, in true NUSofting Fertile Audio Tools tradition, all knobs are useful and fun.
Thank you very much for a must-buy money cannot buy

This is (to me) by far one of the most useful freebies ever. Thanks!
Just curious: The LFO depth is not showing up under parameters that can be automated - is this by design or a "bug"?
I'm on M1 with Ableton, both AU and VST don't show depth.
Thanks!
[edit] The AU version lets me add the depth-parameter through "configure" in Ableton - not the case for the VST though.

Yes the LFO Depth is not automatable in VST3 by design, but I will change that in the next update,
so that AU and VST both behave the same, thanks for the feedback, ciao!
