Try "free orchestral VSTs" and you'll see plenty of links with free full orchestral library suggestions, as well as various individual orchestral instruments, ensembles, and sections. Also check out the top thread in this section.

may i just add Luna free daw has shape and that is the best free vst instrument going , top quality sounds all the way through

but you won’t find a list at the top i’ve accumulated those and i check bedroomproducers and audio plugin guy for new stuff if you google and watch youtube videos they miss stuff

Interestingly I just discovered that the project Sam free orchestra made me eligible for a crossgade to the full version of Kontact,which I didn’t buy because I don’t really need it or have the storage space for the factory library . I also realize Komplete is a better choice probably but I thought I’d share it anyway because somebody out there may be interested in getting just Kontakt
