Hi, I am looking for a midi plugin (MacOS) to be used in Ableton to map incoming velocities to a specific output range. For example given the standard 0-127 range in input, I want to map it to range 80-100 in output. The stock velocity plugin in Ableton has a compressor function which is similar to what I need but it doesn't let you choose precisely the output range. Do you know anything that can do this?

Piz midiCurve should do the trick
https://plugins4free.com/plugin/1414/
squeezing (linearly) the 0-127 range into a 80-100 range would look like this
BTW I just noticed they're still sharing the 32bit version instead of 64bit
if anyone needs the 64bit version (which looks surprisingly hard to find online), I'm uploading it here.
Feel free to scan if through VirusTotal.com or whatever.

Hi, thanks a lot! Is there a Mac version of this plugin?

There seem to be Max4Live devices that can do this.spinlud wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 3:39 pm Hi, I am looking for a midi plugin (MacOS) to be used in Ableton to map incoming velocities to a specific output range.
