Oh boy. I was hoping for this...How long do we have to wait??!?Polyverse Music wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 8:27 am
For them to be part of a synth - you will have to wait for our next plug-in
Not sure about Polyverse 'Filterverse' and 'Supermodal'

This is an everyday DAW function, you just need to group the devices. For example in Bitwig ( other DAWs should work in a similar way) just click on the synth hold down CTRL then click on the filter and choose Group. Now you can save both plugin states combined as a preset from the instrument layer device that pops up. I added a screenshot with another Polyverse plugin to show how it works.zahush76 wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2024 8:29 am If i'm going to use it as an alternative filter with creative options - then all of its settings aren't saved as a part of the preset on the synth plugin i'll be using it on.
Does anyone here have any experience using it on a synth plugin?
I just feel if this was an inherent part of a synth plugin then the integration would be so much better.
What do you think?

Filterverse version 0.8.0 has been released. Here's a quote from the email notification:
"We're excited to share the latest update for Filterverse, version 0.8.0, which brings you innovative filters and features, along with significant enhancements to improve your creative experience.
Next Phase: Phaser Delights
Step into a new realm of phaser effects with Next Phase, our modern phaser that introduces dynamic modulation possibilities. With controls like Peaks, Stretch, and Depth, you can sculpt the phase relationships and intensity to craft unique sound textures, from subtle nuances to profound transformations. Next Phase’s internal Saturation adds just the right amount of warmth and character, making it a versatile tool for any sound designer's arsenal.
Decimate: Crunchy Textures Await
Decimate transforms your sound by reducing the sample rate, introducing a variety of textures reminiscent of vintage digital hardware. From gritty, crunchy effects to sophisticated modulations, Decimate offers a plethora of options including advanced interpolation algorithms, multiple sampling techniques, and an integrated bit-crusher. This filter is your go-to for creating distinct, character-rich elements in your music.
Enhanced Settings Panel
We’ve revamped the settings panel in Filterverse 0.8.0 to give you greater control and flexibility over your creative workflow. Now, you can save your preferred settings as the default for every new project, or customize them for each project you work on. This new functionality ensures that you can jump straight into your creative process with your favorite configurations ready to go. Whether you’re working across multiple projects or need tailored setups for different tasks, our overhauled settings panel makes it seamless and straightforward to manage your preferences.
What else is new in Filterverse 0.8.0?
More presets!
Legato toggle now on main panel directly beneath output level meter
Modulation button now highlights correctly when hovering over a slot
Oscillator display now only controls shape
Filter modulation copy now fixed
Bugs pertaining to Ableton Live and Bitwig Studio fixed
Code cleanup and modernization
Reduced resource consumption and increased responsiveness
Miscellaneous bug fixes and stability improvements"
Polyverse Music really makes some excellent creative effects. Even though this isn't a 1.0 release yet, they've already added some cool new processing and it runs smooth on Intel and Silicon Macs. I think it's only crashed once since I installed it. And like all of their plug-ins, the GUI is very modern-looking with an appealing color scheme. Great job!!

Demo of the new filters, they basically added a fully featured phaser plugin and a fully featured resampler/bitcrusher plugin to the existing plugin. I haven't seen an exponential mode on a bit crusher before, it sounds way more useful than a standard linear bit crusher.

I spent quite a bit of time last night experimenting with the added new features, and I am impressed! There is so much tonal control with the bitcrushing and phasers in addition to the filters themselves.
It brings my carefully programmed electronic percussion loops to life in a very interesting way. Actually, running just about any type of rhythmic audio through Filterverse is providing some wicked results. Lovin’ it!!

Unfortunately that's not true - something like Newsonicarts Freestyle would work though

One of the best bitcrushers I've used and the phaser sounds awesome
There is still some free estate left on the filter page so with version 1.0 we'll have a plethora of tools at our disposal.
