But it is, lol. So, I am. Your loss if you can't work it out.
This nonsense doesnt help the product nor the brand. Creating MANUAL SYMLINKS is not a solution, and anyone who knows one damn thing about systems administration knows this. The vendor is responsible for that level of support, not the customer. Your loss if you cant understand this, and it really does the brand no favors to argue like this.

It does their brand a favour as it provides the users with a short-term solution (because it DOES work), while WA implement that feature later on down the line, as they stated they would be doing when they posted their roadmap here on the forum. But, you obviously think that comments such as calling them an "investor-backed pump and dump thing", is doing their brand a favour, right? :idiot:

Ok cool, you arent getting it and Im not interested in helping you get it. Muting you now. Symlinks arent a solution, they are a technical workaround that only solves the problem of under-development. Good luck with everything!

Its funny, in 20 years of KVR membership I added 1 person to my mute list. Then, in less than 2 years, I've added 10+ argumentative brand sycophants/managers to it, all of whom have had accounts less than 2-3 years old. lmao

Just had a look at your posting history. Your first 3 posts were 2005, 2005, 2020. Maybe you didn’t block anyone as you weren’t actually using the forum?

You alright mate? Worried about you.

hi guys - enjoying triaz but a few niggles, particularly for use in a live context - are any of these in the roadmap?

- can't switch presets via midi program change or CC (need to use external solution such as Clyphx)

- can't midi map directly to mute/solo buttons - e.g. use a midi controller for mutes/solos. Can kind of hack a workaround by assigning an automation lane to mute/solo and controlling this externally, but has to be done per-preset so very clunky.

- no way to route incoming midi channels to different triaz channels, only one channel and split by note values supported

- changes to values in sequencer don't take affect until mouse button is released - feels a bit weird and should happen in real time whether mouse released or not

cheers!

This will hopefully be addressed in our next update :tu:

Have you had any luck with this issue yet? I am really just unable to use this as it is.

Also, is there any reason why the content installer will not let me pick a specific location to install on? I kept getting an error saying the plugin could not find the core library that I could not resolve, so I tried reinstalling from scratch. Now when I run the content installer, it is defaulting to an extra drive I have and it the option to change the drive is greyed out.

For anyone confused about importing content into User Samplers or how all that works, straight from the WA website's Triaz page: https://www.wavealchemy.co.uk/product/triaz/

"Importing Sample Packs into the Sound Browser

Entire 3rd Party and User Sample Packs can easily be added to Triaz’s Sound Browser by dragging your Sample Pack folders into the “Triaz / User Samples“ Folder on your Hard Drive. This folder can be found at the location you chose when installing the Triaz Content."

Currently you cant point Triaz at your library and have it index all of it. Your only option is to copy or move existing content until the dev updates that aspect of the software. Im not sure why the now blocked people tried to argue with me about this, but Im guessing some people will be confused by their misinformation.

Yes durrr the illuminati armchair crazypeople and their "product criticisms". Basically freemasons, or KKK members or something, with their "this software has a bug I need to talk about" nonsense.

Yes, the current "official" way to handle user sample import is to copy samples directly into the TRIAZ User Samples folder, which isn't ideal but it's certainly easy and works without issue. But it's not the ONLY option as Dan Byers has himself indicated on this board that symlinks can also be used.

Either way, user samples can be used in TRIAZ. Life is good.

Just remember when triaz indexes theuser samples it takes a long time before the new library shows and there is no visual feedback showing the indexing process.

It takes literally seconds on my machine to index sample packs from Samples From Mars and Goldbaby.

oh how one of them recognized himself :hihi:

You know very well that the inner circle of Illuminati armchair product experts at KVR are not the same people who post bugs (which is well-wanted) .

Illuminati solitary creatures that have at least one science degree I YouTube videos + at least one PornHub account are the people coming here telling everybody why a feature is needed or why a product developer should restructure pricing or a feature to accommodate their view on a product. A view that coincidentally relates to their mission of freeing up a world and making it a better place by having perfect products :hihi:

Are the PornHub accounts for viewing or posting?
