I forgot there are no vst versions of these,might not be the best choice for a Windows and Ableton

My experience as a teacher is nobody will play a standalone synth even a simple one like Juno106, people are shy, above all a 10 years old kid.
Ableton with some loops preloaded will be a nice start to discover music composition for newbie.
Ableton with Drift is enough to begin for musician who want to discover composition just let some card resuming Ableton documentation
